About Me

Hi, I’m Ali, a mechanical engineer, builder, and hands-on problem solver based in Espoo, Finland.
I’m passionate about designing smart solutions, exploring new technologies, and turning creative ideas into working products.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from HAMK University of Applied Sciences and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve been involved in several multidisciplinary projects that helped me build a broad skill set and gain real-world, cross-functional experience. Working alongside people from different fields gave me a holistic view of engineering and product development.

Master’s thesis focused on developing a propulsion motor for an autonomous boat. I worked on the project for about a year and successfully created a completely new motor design. A patent application has been filed, which is currently under review.

Currently, I’m working on my own project, building a small autonomous boat from scratch. I built the first working prototype in just two weeks. The project is now moving to the next stage, where I’m focused on improving the design, performance, and control systems.

I’m a very hands-on and curious person. I enjoy repairing and modifying devices, doing DIY projects, and learning how things work. I’ve repaired my own car, experimented with vehicle wrapping, and often design and 3D print useful tools or parts for personal use.

In my free time, I create textured art paintings, go fishing, and work out, hobbies that help me stay creative, focused, and balanced.
